Community Involvement

As someone who is active, it is important to Our Founder, Tracie, to support sporting events to promote wellness as well as local organizations and charities.

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community. We believe that Litter Clean Up should not be limited to just Earth Day and participate in litter pick up. Tracie’s 7 year old son calls it “helping Mother Nature” and is very conscious of the impact that it has on the environment.

Avocadough participated in Stupid Dumb Breast Cancer’s 3rd Annual Ladies’ Shopping Night on November 11, 2014 raising money for Cancer Connects, Inc.

Donations have also been made benefiting numerous other charities, including Maureen’s Hope, Ronald McDonald House & the Salvation Army of Syracuse

Avocadough sponsored the Manlius Mile on August 2, 2014. This is a local race that includes a Youth 1 Mile, Open Mile and a 5K. Proceeds go to the Bryan M. Place Charitable Fund

Avocadough also sponsored Team Avocadough (which admittedly is comprised of Tracie’s husband at this time-but, hey – it’s a start!) providing a Speed Suit, which was custom designed by Jakroo for use while he participates in Bike races. Here he is in action at Challenge Atlantic City on June 29, 2014, wearing the suit which we would like to think gave him the edge; along with all of the “Avocadough” SUPERfood he eats on a regular basis, as he biked the fastest bike split out of over 800 cyclists that day. Credit should be given to the whole team, “Work Hard, Play Hard, Tri Hard”, that included Fred Joslyn and Tony Campagna, as they one First Place Relay Overall.
